ROOFING + MOVE-IN, WITHOUT DISRUPTION – The reroof was safely executed during one of the property’s busiest days through careful phasing, controlled access, and close coordination with management.
When University Partners engaged Reliable Roofing to complete a partial reroof at their student housing community, The Connection at Lawrence, the project was carefully timed around one of the most critical days of the year: student move-in. Executing roofing work during move-in day presented unique logistical challenges, including heavy foot traffic, limited access, and the need to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for incoming students and their families. With these factors in mind, we developed a detailed plan to ensure the project could proceed seamlessly alongside move-in operations. Our team coordinated closely with property management to phase work in targeted areas, minimize disruption, and maintain clear, safe pathways throughout the property. In addition to completing the reroof efficiently, Reliable Roofing went a step further by providing an additional dumpster on-site for students to dispose of move-in packaging and waste. Our crews also assisted students and families during the process, helping create a positive and supportive move-in experience. The project was completed without incident, demonstrating our ability to execute time-sensitive roofing work in high-traffic environments while prioritizing safety, coordination, and customer experience.
